MEK GOOD
Stand With THE West in Their Time of Need
The western parishes of Jamaica have been devastated by Hurricane Melissa. Entire communities remain displaced, isolated, overlooked, and in desperate need of help. As the old saying goes, “Every mickel mek a muckle”, our people need every mickel we can offer, so let’s take the bad and mek good!
Mek Good is a grassroots initiative founded by a small group of first-generation Americans with deep ties to Jamaica—a country we proudly call our second home. Moved by the recent devastation across the island, we refuse to stand idly by. Our mission is simple: to lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed most. Through direct, on-the-ground relief and community support, we’re committed to making a meaningful difference for those most affected by the disaster.
