Westmoreland Mission Recap
Dear Friends, Families, and Supporters,
With full hearts, we extend our deepest gratitude to each of you who stood with us in response to Hurricane Melissa’s impact on Jamaica. Because of your generosity—every donation, every prayer, every kind thought—we were able to take meaningful action where it was needed most.
In February, our team traveled to the parish of Westmoreland, where we supported three communities working to recover and rebuild. Together, we distributed nearly 50 beds and over 200 essential building materials, including zinc, plywood, 2x4s, 1x3s, along with food supplies and necessary sanitary items. These contributions have already begun to make a tangible difference for families facing immense loss.
We were also honored to assist a local church in beginning the construction of a new roof, and to support families as they started or continued rebuilding their homes. These moments—of resilience, faith, and community—are a testament to what can be achieved when we come together in compassion.
While the road to recovery remains long, we believe deeply that showing up in love—no matter how small the gesture—allows us to carry one another through even the most difficult times.
We have attached a visual recap and photos from the mission. We kindly ask that you respect the privacy of those pictured and refrain from sharing these images outside of this group. Many are navigating incredibly challenging circumstances, and we aim to honor their dignity as they rebuild.
On behalf of Jamaica, thank you. Your support has brought comfort, hope, and real, lasting impact. See you next time!
With sincere gratitude,
Mek Good
